Fundraiser: The Car That Changes the Lives of Disabled Pupils

Help the pupils of the Olga Havel Secondary School in Janské Lázně to become more independent
Olga Havel Secondary School in Janské Lázně is a special school providing secondary education for pupils with physical disabilities, combined disabilities, autism or learning and behavioural disorders and mental disabilities. As the only school of its type in the Czech Republic, it focuses on preparing these pupils for as independent a working and personal life as possible.
In order for students to experience educational, cultural and sporting activities outside of school, it is essential to ensure their safe transportation. School vehicles are absolutely indispensable in this respect - they are used not only for transport to professional practices, cultural and sporting events, but also for ski training, where thanks to special aids, wheelchair users can also play active sports.
The school currently has two vehicles that are already badly worn out. Therefore, we have started a fundraising campaign to purchase a new vehicle equipped with an electric hydraulic platform to transport wheelchair users and to be used for their daily activities. In addition, the Ford has decided to support this project and will provide the school with a car at the maximum possible discount, and the relevant dealer will also cover the cost of the necessary conversion of the vehicle at its own expense.
Each contribution will help pupils have new experiences, strengthen their self-sufficiency and enable them to actively participate in society.
