VAKOVAKO reaches a major milestone 🎉
Help for people, animals and our planet. VAKOVAKO has just surpassed CZK 20 million ($951,433) in donations provided. Behind this number are dozens of individual projects, hundreds of donors, and above all, people who have chosen to make a difference.
Twenty million Czech crowns. A number that sounds impressive — but what matters even more is everything behind it.
VAKOVAKO has just surpassed the milestone of CZK 20,000,000 ($951,433) in donations provided. This is not just a financial figure. Behind every contribution is a specific act of help, a story, a person, an animal, or a piece of nature that has received support thanks to our shared efforts.
37 fundraising campaigns
Since VAKOVAKO was founded, we have supported 37 fundraising campaigns focused on a wide range of causes.
The most successful campaign so far, The Car That Changes the Lives of Disabled Pupils, raised more than CZK 1.6 million ($78,386) for the Olga Havlova Secondary School.
Each campaign addresses a different challenge and helps somewhere else. What they all have in common is the effort to make things better and support those who often do not have enough resources or opportunities to change their situation on their own.

VAKOVAKO also aims to bring attention to important issues and give a voice to the people and organizations working to address them.
That is why we have created 9 podcast episodes and 2 films, helping to tell stories and open up important conversations about people, animals, society and our environment.
For us, this is an important part of what we do — not only providing financial support where it is needed, but also talking about important issues, looking for solutions and connecting those who want to help with those who need help.
Where the CZK 20 million ($951,433) has gone
The largest share of donations has gone to projects in Czechia — 61.61%.
Another 13.83% has supported Humanity, 11.51% Endangered, 4.90% projects without a specific designation, 3.08% Biodiversity, 2.88% Rainforests and 2.19% Oceans.
This distribution shows just how many different forms help can take — from supporting individuals and communities to protecting nature and projects focused on the future of our planet.
Behind the CZK 20 million ($951,433) are people
Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without everyone who has played a part.
Thank you to all our donors — large companies, partners and individuals who have contributed, whether it was a significant amount or just a few hundred Czech crowns. Every donation matters, and every donor is part of the result we can celebrate today.
And an equally huge thank you goes to all the non-profit organizations, initiatives and projects that work every day to help people, animals and our planet. Without their energy, dedication and determination, none of this would be possible.
CZK 20 million ($951,433) is an important milestone for us. But we do not see it as the finish line. Quite the opposite. It is a reminder of how much we can achieve together — and a motivation to keep going.
