This is what your donations made happen in 2025

Since its founding in October 2021, VAKOVAKO has received a total of $873,414 from donors.

In 2025, we proudly supported 23 projects and nonprofits, delivering a combined $758,611 in donations. Over 81% went to local organizations in the Czech Republic, with the remainder making an impact internationally. A further $114,804 is currently sitting in our transparent accounts, ready to be sent.

A year bigger than the numbers

Behind the figures are stories that stay with you. As a general partner, VAKOVAKO helped bring the documentary film Congo: Price of Elephant to life — an unflinching look at the illegal ivory trade and the fight to save forest elephants. The film has been watched over 250,000 times and the accompanying fundraiser raised more than $24,200 for Save-Elephants.

We also launched the VAKOVAKO Podcast in 2025. The first episode, with conservationist Arthur Sniegon, drew over 40,000 views on YouTube. The second, with Daja Vondrakova of dog rescue organization Doggoland, reached over 41,000.

And for the first time, we opened public fundraisers — 16 campaigns, all successful, raising nearly $121,200 combined. The biggest of them, raising over $78,386 for a specially adapted wheelchair vehicle for students at Olga Havlova Secondary School, filled faster than we could have imagined.
